some really nice sounds that you don't see much in pop and hip hop like organs and choir. Also this has really nice arrangement, scouted for audio portal :D

    frstbitten responds:

Hey, I appreciate the listen and the scout!

sound pretty good! I don't produce hip hop but this has some nice simple grooves and clean sounds. You could use some work on drum sounds and arranging, in stuff like this it works best when every once in a while you add or remove something even its not noticeable when you've got vocals.

    frstbitten responds:

Hey, thanks for the input man! That's a good observation about the nature of the beat-it's one of my "boutique" beats that was built around a vocal and guitar part I'd already written. The complete product can be found on my soundcloud in my "Fangstar" playlist.

pretty good for a first attempt, you don't need to do much more than work on sound design and get some atmosphere going.

    RedTheCat responds:

Thanks. Yeah, I'm starting to work on sound design and get it to work. Although dubstep isn't really my thing, I'll continue to get it to work together.

always liked this type of stuff!

    HypercubeRecords responds:

    Thanks ;D

I like this, but it feels so minor it isn't really scary anymore. When writing melodies in minor write a lot of just like you would a major piece so when it gets more minor it sticks out. Also the atmosphere is great!

    TriaScarlix responds:

Thanks for the helpful feedback, I don't have much experience with melodies yet so I'm still improving; I'll keep that tip in mind!

I like this, nothing wrong with making someone work for the most energetic part. The only thing that needs to be changed is the vocals in my opinion. The other stuff sounds good on its own.

    kiiri responds:

did my best to sing in tune

It doesn't sound bad at all, a bit grainy but it seems intentional and works

    WeAreBlarg responds:

hi ordeal, thank you so much for taking your time to listen and also send me some feedback.

Pretty near perfect perfecting mixing, the only issue is there isn't any choppy/staccato elements that are really noticeable besides drums. So it feels kind of watery

    TheOneManBand responds:

I appreciate your feedback bro. Ill keep that in mind

this is really good but when making a video game soundtrack it can sound weird if you start working without a clear idea of when and were the song would play in a game.

    Tetriform responds:

    hey!
first of all, thanks for the review, i really appreciate it :)
i see what you mean in terms of writing a video game soundtrack
however, that's not really what ive been trying to do with any of my songs :p
now that you say that, i am (hopefully) gonna start a new game project shortly, so im probably gonna have to work on it a little bit

but yeah, thanks once again for your review, it means a hell of a lot :)
